But for right now, friends, I'm completely frustrated by your unspiritual dealings with each other and with God. You're acting like infants in relation to Christ, capable of nothing much more than nursing at the breast. Well, then, I'll nurse you since you don't seem capable of anything more. As long as you grab for what makes you feel good or makes you look important, are you really much different than a babe at the breast, content only when everything's going your way? Coming Soon!
I pray that each of you had an enjoyable summer. We are now in the first week of August. Many of you are getting ready to transition back to school. I know because my daughter is getting herself ready to go to school for her third year. Some of you are preparing for the first time to go away and are wondering what the experience will be like.
For some of you the excitement is overwhelming and you cannot wait. For others, it is a little scary because you will be leaving family and friends. We want to encourage you. For many of you going away also means leaving your familiar churches and church families. Over the years I have listened to many of your concerns about not being able to find a church near your schools that you felt comfortable attending.
That is where this vision came from. This blog is not meant to replace you attending church, because we hope you do find a church. It is intended to supplement your worship. Each Sunday you will be sent an e-mail with the weekly Sunday message and music. This year we will also be presenting a Wednesday Word. We will go through a study together (I am currently working on that study now).
So get settled in school and we'll see you in September!
