What's on Your Mind?

We have been talking about being thankful and grateful to God. There is also another part of being thankful, and that is to those who have touched our lives. When God works within the heart of his people then lives are touched by God through us. Who do you want to say thank you to for touching your life? Who has influenced you for the Lord because of their giving to you? As you listen to this song pray for those that have given into your life.

I have too many to thank but I want to just put a few names down: Arnetta Ivy, Sis.Cynthia Thomas, Evelyn Tolliver, Sis. Carolyn Waddy-Reid, Sis. Anum, Sis. Lillie Williams,Sis. Michelle Burkins, all my church family both at South Suburban Church of God, Langley Avenue Church of God, Faith Church of God and New Life Church of God. If I've met you and even if it was just for a few moments, I am thankful to God for the imprint you have left on my life. God bless your people every where as we leave imprints on the lives of others for eternal significance. Let's talk.......

Grateful for Choices - Who are you choosing?

Minister James S. Williams from South Suburban Church of God presents the message for today. He continues the lesson regarding being grateful. Listen to the message and allow the Lord to help you this week. God bless you.

Complaining turns an 11 day Trip into 40 years (part 3 of 3)

This lesson today completes the last of the installments. The subtitle for this lesson is, "A spirit of praise brings down walls".  I am including the scripture for you to read for yourself.

Now Jericho was tightly shut up because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in. Then the LORD said to Joshua, "See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men. March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams' horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets. When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have all the people give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the people will go up, every man straight in." – Joshua 6:1-5

As you listen to this weeks lesson, what can you do differently in your life? What can you do to bring down some walls in your life? Praying for you this week, God bless you.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! Even if you did not get candy or treats, know that you have the greatest gift of all, the love of the savior.

Minister Jewel D. Williams

Working out the kinks

Thank you for your patience. You may have noticed that the last two videos we taped were not in sync. The sound was on a slight delay. Not quite sure how that happened. So if you are the type of person that is really bother about that, don't look at, but simply listen to the message. We've worked that out with the lesson that will post on tommorrow. So thank you and God bless.

What's On your Mind?

Listen to this song by Kirk Franklin entitled, "Could have been me". Don't just listen to the music, but look at the pictures on the video and think about the message the producer of this video was trying to get across.

As you think about this video and watch the message for today, what can you learn about being thankful? What have you learned about complaining? Share with us this week your thoughts about being grateful. Let's talk...........

Complaining turns an 11 day trip into 40 years (part 2)

I pray that you find something to be thankful for this week. You can begin thanking God because he woke you up this morning and then move from there. I pray that you have a "GRATEFUL" filled week.
